Malevolent Redesign
Yes, I finally got around to sprucing up this tired old site. It needs a lot more work to refine the clunkier bits of content, design and code, but it’s an improvement.
Even though it’s a tiny site that only needs to represent one person, it’s tricky to make it suit the wide variety of projects and clients I deal with (I could be doing a daft Flash game one week and producing code for a government site the next). Also, most of my freelancing is confidential, so until recently I didn’t have much relevant content and imagery to play with.
IE6 is still clinging on in the visitor stats (4-5%), so I’ve given it ‘second class’ support via hacks and compromises. Sometime next year I’ll relegate it to unstyled pages. I may downgrade the HTML/CSS to implement rounded corners with images so that IE displays them, but it’s not a high priority.
Let me know if you run into any glitches, and I’ll no doubt continue to make minor changes over the next few months.
