Mid-November Link Dump
A break from cat-related stupidity to clear out collected links:
Science!
- “Tee Shirts on the Edge of Forever”
- VectorMagic
- A service that traces uploaded bitmaps, converting them to vector artwork.
- MOO!
- More fantastic mutation and mutilation from Cyriak.
- CSS Animation
- All very smooth and simple, but WebKit-only for the foreseeable future; I suppose it’ll prove useful for Dashboard widgets.
- PoultryLand
- I haven’t played this, but I love the idea of someone creating a MMOG about breeding and showing chickens, rather than the usual orcs/zombies/robots/etc.
Kirby Monsters Never Reprinted
- It’s a shame the scans aren’t a bit bigger, but this is still going to happily eat up a couple of hours of my time.
- Web Mayhem: Firefox’s JAR: Protocol issues
- Most sites that allow uploads or have open redirect pages are wide open to XSS in Firefox, including Google. The most disturbing aspect is the fact that Mozilla developers implemented the feature without considering the blatantly obvious security implications.
- HEMA - online winkelen
- Never mind not being able to understand the text, just enjoy some very slick online advertising.
- StupidFilter
- A project to develop “an open-source filter software that can detect rampant stupidity in written English”. Google should fund this for the sake of YouTube.
