This to That simply tells you how to stick two materials together, and gives detailed information about the glues. That might seem geeky or trivial, but it’s one of those niche single-purpose sites that can become an authoritative resource without any business plans, buzzwords or marketing budgets (which is what makes the web genuinely different). I’m surprised at the lack of relevant advertising and affiliate links for purchasing products though; I reckon they could make the site more useful and profitable without jeopardising impartiality.

(Another site I spotted shortly afterwards, NovelTie.com, is somewhat more puzzling. Wooden ties?)
