Insert Suitably-Bad ‘Atom’ Pun Here

As promised, I’ve added support for Atom (a format designed to rival/replace RSS for syndicating content to news-reading software etc.). Let me know if you spot any problems.

Implementing it was, sadly, similar to adding RSS, involving an inadequate/incomplete specification, a lack of helpful authoritative examples and a frighteningly-broad variety of implementations in the wild. Most aspects of the format are sensible though, and hopefully the documentation will improve.
